Elizabeth Louella Butler
Butler (Lyons), Elizabeth “Betty” Louella, age 86, of Dartmouth, passed away on Saturday May 5, 2018 in the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Mann Settlement, (Matapedia), Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Greta (Mann) Lyons.
Betty is survived by her sons, Peter, Kevin, Larry, Lorne, all of Dartmouth, and Reginald (Susan), Markham, Ont.; daughters, Georgena (Stephen) Hopkins, England, Peggy, Susan, both of Dartmouth, Sherry (Mike) Laird, New Germany; daughter-in-law Kristine Kameramans; grandchildren, Amanda, Cory, Robert, Christopher, Robyn, Darlene, Jordan, Jennifer, Billy, Sarah, Ashley, Kayla, Jason, Luke, Ryan, Brian and Sharon and many great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by sisters Margaret Crouse, Greta Mosher, Jean Cole (Peter Steele), all of Dartmouth; brothers, Garnet (Ann), Toronto, Ont.; sister in law Carrie Lyons, Toronto, Ont.; brother-in-law Robert Twinner, London, Ont.
Betty was predeceased by her husband William “Bill” in 2008; son, George; infant sons Charles and Michael; brother Robert (Marion) Lyons, and granddaughter Kerry.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service with be held at 11am on Wednesday May 9th in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens, Rev. James Haughn officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the PKU Society in care of the IWK Foundation.
