Elizabeth « Eliza » LeBlanc
1928-2018
It is with sadness we announce the
peaceful passing of Elizabeth I. M. « Eliza »
LeBlanc, age 90, of Sackville, NB. Eliza
passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the Sackville Memorial
Hospital, surrounded by loving family.
Born in Middle Sackville, NB, Eliza was
a daughter of the late Thaddie and Elizabeth (Leger)
Richard.
Eliza was was a retired custodian from
Mount Allison University after 30 years of service, later helping her
husband Edmund with the Sackville Bowling Alley. She was an
avid sports fan; and a great supporter of local sports and in
particular, any games that involved her grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Vincent’s Roman
Catholic Church in Sackville.
Eliza will be sadly missed by son Gary
(Charlotte), Sackville; daughters, Dianne (Bob) Carson, of Sackville,
and Denise (Victor Sears) LeBlanc, of St. Paul, NB; four
grandchildren, Mike (Amie) Carson, Angela (Lee) Ogden, Peter LeBlanc
and Nathan (Megan Landry) LeBlanc; eight great-grandchildren,
Michaela, Davida, Autumn, Kaylee, Amber, Hunter, Gloria and Parker; as
well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband
Edmund; daughter Gloria in 1974; sisters Anna Burke,
Evangeline Ison, Laura Napper, Eva Bourque, brothers Robert and
Andrew.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St.,
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will be held on
Thursday from 7 to 9 pm with Funeral Mass at St. Vincent’s Roman
Catholic Church, Sackville on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11 am,
burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Middle Sackville,
NB.
