Elizabeth (Betty)’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth (Betty) Campbell announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Friday, October 19, 2018 in her 76th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children: son Wayne; daughters: Sharon Park, Gwen, Lynn (Paul), Tanya (Monty); her precious grandchildren: Jeffrey (Sarah), Gregory, Tara (Andre), Ashley (Brent), Adrian (Myrna), Andrew, Caitlyn (Stephen), Trinity; her great grandchildren: Joshua, Jerrica, Logan, Jayden, Jaxon, Ashlynn, Lily, Brayden; her sisters: Florence Long, Connie Connolly (Bruce); her brothers: Shannon and Vern Reid; her sisters in law: Marion Lyver, Jean Campbell, Audrey Rowsell; her special nieces: Mary Leggo and Shelly Connolly Reddy; her special cousin Joan Rice; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Betty was predeceased by her husband Leonard (2004); her parents: Ambrose & Margaret Reid; her father Stan Newhook; her mother in law Amelia Campbell; her son in law Glynn Park; her sister Phyliss Chissom; her infant siblings: Sharon and Wayne; her brothers & sisters in law: William Long, Joseph Chissom, Aussie (Maime), Peter (Audrey), Jimmy (Betty), Thomas, Walt Lyver, Gord Rowsell, Ella Gough (Rudy), Emma Jean (Dick), Nita Kendall (Steve), Alice Pennell (Toots); also in laws: Duncan, Peter Joe, Freddie, Josephine; and her special cousin Marie Newman. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018 at 10 am from The Most Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Parish, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Edward Terry officiating.
