It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Elizabeth Ann Dicks announces her sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Wednesday, January 17th, 2018 at the age of 67 years. Born in English Harbour, NL, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Ellen Mitchell. She was also predeceased by her husband David Dicks in 2010, brother John Mitchell, brothers-in-law Philip Dicks, Calvin Dicks, Albert Dicks, sisters-in-law Gladys Dicks, Diane Dicks, Juanita Alley, father-in-law Morgan Dicks. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Amanda Dicks (Vernon), son Darren (April) Dicks, her pride and joy grandchildren Lucas and Brooklyn Dicks, brother Charles (Germaine) Mitchell, sister-in-law Selena Mitchell all of Terrenceville, NL, mother-in-law Marie Dicks, brothers-in-law Conrad (Gladys) Dicks, Claude (Florence) Dicks, Ivan (Ruby) Dicks, Robert Dicks, Gordon Dicks all of Port aux Basques, NL, Lester (Edna) Dicks of Windsor, NS, Harold Alley of St. David’s, NL, special friends Viola Roberts, Grace (Keith) Savory, Gail (Jerry) Osmond all from Port aux Basques, NL and Florence (Rank) Walsh of Labrador City, plus a large circle nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family visitation will follow with internment at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, TCH, NL. Donations can be made to charity of one’s choice.
