Eliza’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of Eliza Harriet Hynes nee House announce her sudden passing at her family residence in Cow Head, NL, on Saturday, October 27th, 2018, in her 81st year.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband; Leo, her children; George (Shirley), Dan (Norma), Michael, Lillian (Bill), Dean (Tara), Vince (Maureen), and Shelley (Quinton), her grandchildren; Leslie (Jenelle), Gregory (Tammy), Car-lee (Cedric), Melanie (Shane), Scott (Angeline), Tyler (Stacie), Angie, Steven, Ryan (Michelle), Penny, Liam, Katie (Perry), Lilly (Aaron), and Noah, her 16 great grandchildren, her daughter-in-law; Linda Hynes, son-in-laws; Wayne Smith, and Rick Young, her best friend; Carol Payne, and her homecare workers; Irene Payne and Jasmine Gale. Eliza was the last one of her family she was predeceased by her parents; Albert and Ethel House, her daughters; Joyce Hynes, and Jean Smith, her son; Anthony Hynes, her mother and father-in-law; Sarah and Thomas Hynes, her siblings; Naamon, Tom, Walter, Leslie, Milton, George, Clara, Julia, Nellie, Aurela, Jane, Sarah and Emily. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Mary The Virgin Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, on Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the Funeral Mass of Christian burial will take place from on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018 at 3:00 pm with Father Gaberial and Canon Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the Roman Catholic Church cemetery in Cow Head, NL.
