Krug, Elisabeth:
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late John Krug. Loving mother to Mark (Beth), Paul, Cathy Couture (Paul Dickie), Christine Farnham (David). Cherished grandmother to Michael and Michelle Krug, Meaghan, Lindsay and Sarah Couture, Matt, Brad and Nicole Farnham. Elisabeth will be greatly missed by siblings Eva Sadler and John Panholzer. Cherished sister-in-law to Al and Betty Montag, Orval and Terry Kuskoff, Helen Panholzer and Helmut Sadler. Elisabeth is predeceased by her parents John and Eva Panholzer. Elisabeth enjoyed spending time with her many nieces and nephews.
Elisabeth’s greatest passion was her family, she enjoyed time with grandchildren most of all. Her hobbies including caring for others and her love of gardening.
Elisabeth’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers to take place at 3:45. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Agnes R.C. Church, 75 Bluevale St. N., Waterloo,on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, followed by a reception in the church hall.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Agnes Church and KW Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
