Virgo, Eli
Peacefully, surrounded by family, Eli Virgo passed away at 77, on Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Born in St. Ann’s, Jamaica, Eli lived in Thorold for 35 years and 11 years in Niagara-on-the-Lake. He is survived and will be sorely missed by his wife of 45 years, Monica, his children Christopher, Marcia, Rosemarie, Jennifer, Priscilla and Melissa. Proud grandfather of Felicia, Shaina, Kiana, Darien, Brandon, Jadean, Jaeron, Dwayne, Devonte, Jedidiah, Josiah and Othniel. Cherished great grandfather to Jayleyah, Talia and Troy. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a wide network of dedicated friends that have become family. He’ll be fondly remembered as a well respected, dignified, disciplined man. Since retiring from General Motors after over 30 years of service, Eli, dedicated his time to his love of family, friends, church, gardening, furniture making, art and long walks.
