Passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia. ELEANOR JACKSON (nee Thrower), of Petrolia, was in 96th year. Beloved wife to the late Gordon Jackson. Loving mother to Ron (Sue) Jackson of Plympton-Wyoming, Ross (Gayle) Jackson of Plympton-Wyoming and Robert (Toni) Jackson of Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Proud grandma to Ashley (Brent Potter) Jackson, Chantelle (Martin) Meier, Justin Jackson, and Dana (Darcy) Mitchell and great grandma to Paxton, Koa, Hannah, Nash and Jackson. Loved sister to the late Fred (the late Marion) Thrower, the late Walter (Phyllis) Thrower, and the late John (Irene) Thrower. Visitors will be received at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia, from 10:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018, where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery.
