It is with sadness that the family of the late Eldon Aubrey Gillard announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls Windsor, NL aged 67 years.
Eldon leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Jean; daughter, Debbie Gillard; son, Jody Gillard (Nadine); step-daughter, Darlene Downton; step-son, Wayne (Dana) Downton; sister, Thelma (Alfred) Robinson; grandchildren, Sophie, Stephen, & Kendell; step-grandchildren, Tracy-Lynn, Mark, Dwayne, Katie, Victoria; great-great grandson Brayden; as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Eldon is predeceased by his parents, John & Rowena Gillard; sister, Audrey Hann; brother-in-law, Ward Hann.
The public visitation will take place Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 7-9 pm and Monday, June 25, 2018 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The funeral service will take place Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Caribou Road Cemetery, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
As expressions of sympathy donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Park Street Citadel.
