JANES, EDWARD JOSEPH “Dago”
Peacefully on Wednesday, November 28th, 2018 at the age of 94 years. Loving husband of the late Loretta and survived by their best friend Daphne Baxtrom. Cherished father figure/uncle of Lilly Moyles, Laura Leah Antle, John Baldwin, Louise Conway, Angela Baldwin, Darlene Carruthers-Skemer and Gerri-Lynn Sendyk. Adored uncle Dago to many nieces and nephews. Brother of Derm, Jack, Dot, Angela, Marie and Carmel. Dago was an active boxer, a bowler who scored a perfect game and he was also a skilled baseball player. Dago was an avid hockey fan who loved to cheer for his Canadian teams. Family and friends may pay respects to Holy Redeemer, Church, 44 Rothesay Drive, Kanata for a Memorial Mass on Thursday, December 6th, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
