Ed Gach of Sherwood Park, passed away suddenly at home on May 8, 2018 at the age of 85. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter Sharon. He is also survived by his sister Gloria, sister-in-laws Beth, Betty, Jean, Vicky, Ruby, Pat, Connie(Les), Joyce and Diana, brother-in-law Martin (Tani) as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Ed was predeceased by his loving wife Irene, brother Steve and many beloved brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. Ed was well known and respected in the Aviation Refuelling and Petroleum Industry for over 60 years and treasured the many friends he metalong the way.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Westlawn Funeral Home, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Basilica, 10044-113 Street, Edmonton with burial to follow at Westlawn Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations to be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
