Sponza, Edvige
August 23, 1930 – April 14, 2018
With heavy hearts we announce the death of Edvige, a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Predeceased by husband Stefano in 2002. She is survived by sons Dario and Eddi, and grandchildren Alessandro and Amelia. Prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18th, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 525 Slocan St. Vancouver where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 19th. Entombment to follow at the South Mausoleum, Ocean View Cemetery, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations can made in Edvige’s memory to Children’s Hospital. Her sons would like to thank the 14th floor staff of the Windermere Care Centre for their attentive care during the past three years.
