Edna Kutz
It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother (Annie) and great-grandmother at Seven Oaks Hospital on June 14, 2018 with family by her side. Edna was predeceased by her parents, nine sisters, one brother and her husband of 54 years, Larry in 2009. She is survived by her children, Valerie (Cliff), Joanne (Tim), Michelle (Grant) and Michael (Lisa); grandchildren, Andrea (Glenn), Tracy (Roberto), Brian (Tiffany), Lauren (Marcel), Christopher, Andrew, Nicole, Adam and Alex; and her great-grandchildren, Hailey and Gavin; Micah; Santiago, Isaac and Adelina; Sophie and Noah. Edna Funk was born in Lucky Lake, SK on May 10, 1934. In 1955, she married Larry Kutz and they raised four children. In 1966, they moved to Winnipeg. Once their youngest and brightest started school, Mom started work with CIBC and remained there until her retirement in 1992. She and Larry then moved to Spruce Sands to enjoy their retirement years. Once Dad passed, she moved back to Winnipeg to be with her family. Mom enjoyed watching her sports on TV. Especially curling, the Bombers, the Jets and the Blue Jays. The family wants to thank the Staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their compassionate care during her final days. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice. A private memorial service and interment will be held at a later date.
