Edmund « Zephyr » Bastarache
1942-2018
Zephyr Bastarache, 76,
of Fownes Manor, Hopewell Hill passed away on
October 1st, 2018 at the Dr. George
L. Dumont Hospital after a brief
illness.
Zephyr was a great guy who was always willing to
give a helping hand. He loved to help out at the Wallace
farm in Hillsborough when he lived in the area and
volunteered at Forest Dale Home with the activities. He
enjoyed biking and walking. He was a permanent fixture at
the Albert Vocational Training Center where he enjoyed many good times
with his friends. One of his favorite things was music, he
played the guitar, harmonica and loved going to the local music
nights. He will be remembered for his kind ways and for his
outgoing personality.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of his Life will be held
at the Albert County Funeral Home on Friday, October 5th, 2018 at
11:00am.
