Edmund Alvin Tabbert
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Edmund Tabbert, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at age 92.
We will remember Ed for his numerous stories of all his adventures and accomplishments. He lived to work and never regretted a moment. He grew up on the farm and farmed with his wife, Ruth for 25 years. Ed then moved into construction, working as a mechanic in his creative and unique ways.
Ed will be dearly missed and forever loved by his wife of 69 years, Ruth; his children, Frank (Cindy), Lawrence (Debbie), Ellis (Trudy), and Les (Mona); his 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by all 8 of his siblings.
There will be a Prayer Service for Ed on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home (52356 Range Rd. 232, Sherwood Park, AB.) Funeral Service on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Parish (7508 29 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB.)
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
