Edith May Mulligan (Edwards)
Peacefully at Marianhill Residence Pembroke, surrounded by the love of her family, on Friday June 22, 2018 in her 90th year. Edith Mulligan (nee Edwards) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Frank Mulligan. Loved and cherished mother of Gwen Flowers (late Robert), Grace McLaughlin (Hayden) and Thomas Mulligan all of Pembroke, Heather Newton (David), Kitchener, Iris Mulligan, Pembroke and Donna Severin (Doug), Beachburg. Predeceased by her son Francis Mulligan. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers James. Joseph, Ernest, Lloyd, Wallace, Herbert, John, Gordon, Leonard, Garnet and Archie Edwards, her sister Ethel Clark and her grandson Terry Flowers . Sister-in-law of Idena Edwards. Daughter of the late Joseph and Ellen (nee Beaudrie) Edwards. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to share their memories of Edith with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Monday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday June 26th at 11 a.m. in the Pembroke Pentecostal Tabernacle 34 Jordan Avenue , Pembroke. Interment Pembroke Pentecostal Cemetery. In memory of Edith donations to The Ottawa Heart Institute or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
