visitor at the DVA Veteran’s Wing. Also, Edith was
a regular volunteer at York Manor (York Care Centre) for 11
years.
Sports were Edith’s passion, particularly hockey.
This began with watching the Moncton Hawks as a child, then rooting
for her Montreal Canadiens and finally with cheering on and mothering
a generation of FMHA midget & juvenile hockey players at the
York Arena.
Edith is survived by a daughter Nancy Fraser (Colby) of Grand
Bay-Westfield; a grandchild Jennifer Fraser-Furrow of Rothesay; great
grandsons Dylan and Mitch Furrow of Rothesay, as well as her sister

husband of 62 years, Albert « Ab » MacDonald and her first
husband Lloyd Currie.
The family is most grateful to Bayshore Home Health

live independently and happily for the last three years. The family
would also like to thank the nurses and staff of 4NE, 3SW and 4E at
the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital, as well as the nurses and staff
