Edith Lalonde (Lalonde)
At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria on Saturday, May 26, 2018. Edith Jessie Lalonde (nee Lalonde) of Alexandria, formerly of Hammond; age 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Lalonde. Loving mother of Martin, Rodney, Susan, Mark and Victor Lalonde, and Vivian Kyer (Wayne). Dear sister of Edna Scott (Jim). Predeceased by her parents Frank Lalonde and Bessie Buchanan; also by three brothers Jack, Jimmy, Russell Lalonde and by one sister Jean Fulton. Edith is survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 2-4 and 7- 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Monday June 4, 2018 at 1 pm in the Trinity United Church, Hopetown, Lanark, Ontario. Interment to follow in Hopetown Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Edith a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
