OBITUARY
Edith Joyce Meldrum age 83 of Halifax, NS passed away 16 February, 2018 at the QEII Infirmary Site.Born in Sheet Harbour, she was the daughter of Mary Logan Barron and Edward Barron. Mom was an old fashioned mom- her family was everything to her, and she was happiest when we were all together. She was an avid reader, and loved her crossword puzzles. Mom and Dad celebrated 65 years of marriage this year, testimony to their dedication to family. Mom, you are loved and you are missed by all. Survived by her husband Cecil (Buck) Meldrum; daughters: Deborah Forbes- Meldrum (Stephen), Darleen Gauthier- Meldrum; son, Tom; sister, Liz (Norman) Stroesser; brothers, Pat and Eric; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Besides her parents, she was predeceased by daughter, Wendy Graves Meldrum; sisters, Mae Gerrard, Olive Riley, Jean Comeau, and brother, Ed Barron. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held Friday 23 February at 1:00 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Homes Sackville Chapel, 125 Sackville Drive.
