Edgar Thauvette
On September 5, 2018 following a courageous battle, surrounded by family, Edgar closed his eyes, quieted his pain and entered eternal peace at the young age of 69. Husband of Linda Thauvette. Beloved father of Tania Thauvette (Mike McGregor) of Cornwall, Chantal Nephin (Greg) of Carleton Place, and Jason Thauvette (Christine) of Cornwall. Cherished grandfather of Madyson, Hudson, Charles, James, Stella, Mila, and step grandfather of Karissa, Kiah, and Qyanah. Dear brother of Irene Geneau (Rene) of Summerstown Station, Lauretta Martin (Robert) of Apple Hill, Leona Pilon (Glen) of Cornwall, Jean Pilon (Andre), and Teresa Jarvo (Chris) both of Martintown, Maureeen Larocque (Ray Morin) of Cornwall, and Joanne Fraser of Green Valley. Dear son of Leila Thauvette (nee Quesnel) of Cornwall and the late Leo Thauvette. Predeceased by one grandchild McKenzy, and by one brother Romeo Thauvette. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 9am -12:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Raphael’s Catholic Church on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1 pm. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Edgar a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
