Dwight Cyril Cross
Cross, Dwight Cyril “Shorty”, age 72, of Dartmouth, passed away suddenly on February 23, 2018.
Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Cyril and Irene (Rhyno) Cross.
Dwight worked in the Halifax Shipyards as a Sheet Metal Worker and Iron Worker for many years. He was a member of Sheet Metal 409 and Local 1 Shipbuilders Unions.
Dwight is survived by his son Dwight Anthony Cross (Suzanne Preeper); daughters, Carol Cross, Rhonda Cross, Lois Cross; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild. He is also survived by his siblings, Barbara (Eddie), Robert (Donna), Jakey (Anne), Donna (Ken), Donnie; his companion, Mildred Isnor; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Peggy Robar (Cross); brothers, Phil and Jim.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and interment in Liverpool will be held at a later date.
