ROTHER, Dr. Irving – 1919-2018 – Peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his home in Toronto at the age of 98, beloved husband of the late Florence Rother (nee Warshavsky), father and father-in-law of Annalee and Brian Schnurr, Judy Rother and Errol Lipschitz, Barbara Rother, Mark and Jacqueline Rother. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Peppy and Henry Bockner, Ruth and Bill Sniderman, brother-in-law of Leonard and Eve Warren, the late Art and Lucille, Abe and Lil, Irv and Bunny, Syd and Nell. Grandfather of Matthew and Natalie, Jessica and Michael, Gabby, Justin, Max and Benjamin. Great-grandfather of Louis, Evan, Jack and Nora. Cared for with compassion by Diana, Karen, Ellen, Harrison, Fe and the rest of his amazing team. An adored husband, a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather, an exemplary physician and teacher. Irving touched the lives of many in his extended family and community and will be dearly missed by all. At Benjamin’s Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west of Dufferin) for service on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Holy Blossom Temple Section of Pardes Shalom Cemetery.
