Dr. George Nicholson Findlay DDS. CD
February 9, 1925 Lemberg, SK – January 5, 2018, Calgary, AB
The eldest son of the late Dr. Charles and Edna Findlay, George leaves his loving wife of 67 years Donna, son Dale, daughter Darra Shepherd-Hovenga (Jimmy) and grandsons Christopher, Matthew and Andrew in Costa Rica; daughter-in-law Cheryl (Paul) and grandson Daniel here in Calgary. He also leaves siblings Helen Moore and brother John, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. George was proud of his Military service, dentistry and to the community he lived in for 60 odd years. He loved his cottage, his RV and was a great do-it-yourselfer specializing in gardening, construction and making sawdust. George’s body has gone back to Mother Earth, his Soul has wafted away on a breeze and his Spirit is instilled in Heaven. As per George’s request, there will be no services.
