87 years, passed away after a brief illness on January 16, 2018. Beloved husband for 60 years of Laura (nee Shum). Loving father of Dr. Albert, Dr. Rose Ann and Edward Jr. Much loved Grandpa of Patrick, Andrew and Christopher. Dear brother of Hon Wing and Hon Keung and brother-in-law of Yuk Ying, Yuk Nam, Resela Wong-Sing, Agnes Yeung, and predeceased by Dina Yip, Yuk Guy, Fung King, Simon. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Edward was a passionate family doctor who was dedicated to his patients, even practicing medicine up until January 4th of this year. He was previously the Chief of the Department of Family Medicine for 10 years at IODE Hospital and was a board director for the Windsor Symphony. He was an active fundraiser for many organizations including the University of Ottawa Alumni Association, Essex County Chinese Canadian Association, as well as the Windsor Symphony for many years. He was also a member of the Essex County Medical Society, Ontario Medical Association and the Canadian Medical Association. Aside from his profession, Edward found the greatest pleasures in his life to be his wife, children and especially his grandchildren, of whom he was so proud.

Visiting Friday 3-5 & 7-9 pm with parish prayers at 4:30 pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Saturday, family and friends are invited to meet after 9:30 am at Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd. W.) for visiting followed by funeral mass at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
