Barton, Douglas “Doug”
Suddenly on Wednesday March 14, 2018 Doug Barton of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 64. Loving husband of Debbie. Proud and caring father of Jan (Jason Hachey) and Karla (Bert MacLennan). Predeceased by his son Kurt. Dearly loved grandfather and “Poppa” of Jarod, Blake, Cohen, Khloe, Jacob and Austin. Dear brother of Sydney (Peggy), Beverley, Judy (Robert Kirby) and Kevin (Sharon). Predeceased by his brother Wyman. Special son-in-law to Edna Moran and brother-in-law to all the Moran family and Lorna Barton. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Doug will be greatly missed by his long-time friend James Nixon. Doug’s family and friends are invited to Celebrate his life on Thursday March 22 ,2018 at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club from 1 to 4 pm.
