Mr. Douglas Farquhar
January 18th, 1930 – November 30th, 2018
Passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 88. Predeceased (November 3rd, 2018) by his loving wife Mary Farquhar. Together in Heaven they celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary on November 30th, 2018. Survived by his children Lyle (Cathy), Debbie (J.P.) Kirkbride, Elaine (John) Heaslip, Cory (Vivian) Farquhar, Linda (Shawn) Hattie. Greatly adored by his many grandchildren Sarah, Elizabeth, Dawn, Stacy, John, Taylor, Sean, Mary Rose, Alyssa and Kirstin. Along with his great-grandchildren Kayla, Ross, Faith, Tierney and Rory.
He is also survived by Willard (Late Ena), Edith (Lorne) Nelson, Roy (Barb) and sister-in-law Marjorie Farquhar and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Howard (late Rose), Clarence (Late May), Harold (Eileen), John (late Anna), George (Marjorie), Donalda (Len) Riley, Lillian (late Andy) Dodds.
At Doug’s request he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held in the spring to celebrate Mary and Doug’s life together.
