CLANCY, Douglas Leonel – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Doug at home on Wednesday, August 29th, 2018. Doug Clancy of Stirling was 93. Son of the late Carlton and Erma Clancy (nee Snarr). Beloved husband to Jean Clancy (nee Barlow). He will be deeply missed by his son Ron (Beth) of Stirling. Pre-deceased by his brothers Maurice and Keith. Loving grandfather to Jennifer Maloney (Murray) and Rhonda Lafrennier (David). Great-grandfather of Alley, Sadie, Crimson and Walker. Friends are invited to call at the STIRLING FUNERAL CHAPEL, 87 James St (613-395-2424) on Tuesday, September 4th, from 11:00a.m. –1:00p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel immediately following at 1:00p.m. Cremation will take place following the service. Interment will take place at Wellman’s Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association in Doug’s memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
