Peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the age of 45. Beloved husband of Melanie. Cherished Dad of Dominick and Dakota. Loving son of Doug and Nadene. Dear brother of Dawn Cartwright. Remembered by Allan and Charlene Hill. Dougie will also be greatly missed by his niece Chelsea and nephew Bradon other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Dougie’s Life will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First. St., Orangeville, on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. Memorial donations to Princess Margaret Foundation or Headwaters Health Care Foundation, Oncology Department would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Dougie in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The annual dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
