It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Doug Evans after a short battle with cancer.
Loving husband of Donna of 38 years. Cherished father of Jennifer, Allison (Steve), John (Stephanie), and Barbara (Justin). Beloved grandfather of Cole, Brooklyn, JD and Blair. Devoted son of Barbara and the late Ramsey Evans. Dearest brother of John and Don Evans.
Doug had a passion for aviation. He was a respected Air Canada pilot with a career spanning 33 years and was a great ambassador to the airline. Doug was an all-encompassing family man with lifelong ties to Muskoka.
He will be deeply missed by his family, many friends and colleagues.
Funeral will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Chapel. 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8 on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
