Forever Cherished
It is with great sadness we announce that Jean Copithorne passed away peacefully into the loving arms of the Lord at the Foothills Hospital on Friday, April 13, 2018.
Jean will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Louvine (Lou) Callaway; step-daughters Ann (Bob) Cleveland, Joan (Ted) Westerson, and Shirley Copithorne; and step-sons Ken (Wendy) Copithorne and Tom (Pattie) Copithorne. She will also be missed by numerous nephews; a niece; great nephews and niece; great-great nieces and nephews; and a number of step-grandchildren.
Jean was predeceased by her husband Frank Copithorne; parents Harold and Amy Callaway; sister Mary “Tot” (Earl) Fenton; brothers: Gordon (Dolly) Callaway, Clarence (CJ) Callaway; niece Elizabeth Callaway; step-son Richard Copithorne and step-daughter-in-law Freda Copithorne.
Jean was born in Cochrane, where she lived and worked for all of her 84 years.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church (128 1 Street E, Cochrane, AB) on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. If so desired, memorial donations in Jean’s name may be made directly to Bethany Care Foundation (www.bethanycarefoundation.com).
