Dorothy Gertrude Harrod
May 22, 1927 – November 1, 2018
HARROD, Dorothy Gertrude –
Peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital on November 1st, 2018 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her loving husband James (2014). Sadly missed by her children; Donald Harrod (Elizabeth Crawley), Mary Harrod (Chris Dussault), and niece Laurie (Alan) Tambasso. Predeceased by her sisters: Katherine Gough & Barbara Pelletier. Dorothy was a nurse who trained in Hamilton & worked in various locations in Ontario. She was a member of St. Andrews United Church & UCW in North Bay. She enjoyed her time at the cottage, swimming and knitting.
The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls on Monday November 5, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. Donations to Heart & Stroke Association would be appreciated.
