Jean passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the age of 95.
She was born in Chatham and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Prudence (Doan) Hind.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Tomlinson (2000).
Loving mother of Gayle Campbell (Jim Brodie) of Chatham, Gary Tomlinson (Evelyn) of Guilds, Greg Tomlinson (Judy) of London, Gloria Newcombe (Brian) of London, Graham Tomlinson (Cathy) of Merlin and the late Debbie Warren (Jim) of Alisa Craig.
Sadly missed by grandchildren, Jason Tomlinson (Brenna Paul) of Georgetown, Melissa Smids (Steven) of Chatham, Michael Webster (Angel) of LaSalle, Eric Newcombe (Denise Hughes) of London, Brianne Polio (Jorge) of St. Thomas, Jeffrey Tomlinson (Emma) of London, Jake Warren of Alisa Craig and Nyles Tomlinson of Merlin.
Special great-grandmother of Hayden and Cohen Smids, Kingsley and Ellis Tomlinson, Mateo and Micah Polio and Stella and Lyla Tomlinson.
Dear sister-in-law of Mary Hind of Chatham.
Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Predeceased by her sister Blanche Fleming, her brothers, Arthur, Lloyd, Glenn, Douglas, Robert and Jack Hind, her son-in-law Allan Campbell and her daughter-in-law Nancy Tomlinson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mckinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON.
A private family Memorial Service and interment will take place at a later date.
