Doris Cross
Peacefully at the Bayfield Manor Nursing Home in Kemptville on Monday, December 24, 2018, Doris Cross (nee McDiarmid) of Winchester, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Cross. Loving mother of Anne Cross and Jeff Cross, both of Winchester. Dear mother-in-law of Horst Matthiesen. Doris will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Kim Faith (Ray), Tracey Morrow, Rhonda Kelly (Darrin), Mark Matthiesen, Inge Matthiesen; great-grandchildren Tyler, Aimee, Jessica, Liam, Dayton, Spencer, Drew and great, great-grandchildren Callum, Ivar and Malcolm. Predeceased by her daughter Dale Matthiesen, her son Dean Cross and her granddaughters Cindy Lou and Jennifer Dawn McIntosh. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Saturday, January 5th from 10 a.m. until time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the Williamsburg Oddfellows Hall.
