Dorice Saulnier
1929-2018
Dorice Saulnier, 89, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded
by her family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital,
Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Tuesday October 2, 2018. She was married to
the late Emery Saulnier (2004). Born in Chockpish
(Sainte-Anne-de-Kent), she was the daughter of the late Philippe and
the late Elise (Dallaire) Arsenault.
She will be sadly missed by her twelve children; Mélina Maillet
(Yvon LeBlanc) of Dixion Point, Alice Dallaire (Fernand) of
Bouctouche, Jean-Paul (Nicole) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Adrien (Thelma
Arsenault) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Aldéo (Phyllis) of
Bouctouche, Florence (late Gilles Arsenault) of Notre-Dame, Rose-Mai
LeBlanc (Ricky) of Dieppe, Ronald (Simone) of Saint-Antoine, Emery Jr
(Anita Cormier) of Cocagne, Normand, Bobby (Dorine) of Bouctouche and
Lucie Bourque (Roger) of Dieppe as well as her twenty grandchildren
and thirty-one great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn one
brother, Antoine (Géraldine) of Rogersville and several nephews
and nieces.
Dorice was predeceased by two daughters; Marie-Lucie and
Marie-Florence, one sister Élise and three brothers; Alban,
Gérard and Roger.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Friday October 5, 2018 from 2 to
4 and 5:30 à to 6:45 pm. The funeral Mass will be celebrated
at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic church, Bouctouche on Friday
October 5, 2018 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Dorice’s memory, donations may be made to the Villa Mgr.
Allain «Residents activity fund».
