Dorice LeBlanc
LeBlanc (Depres), Dorice Jeanne, age 92, of Dartmouth, passed away on 10th of March, 2018 at the Dartmouth General Hospital.
Born in Memramcook, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Hermance (Leger) Depres and Arthur Depres.
Dorice grew up in Memramcook. She married Ulysse LeBlanc and they moved to Dartmouth to start their family. She was a long-time resident of Dartmouth.
She always loved to walk and after selling her house she would walk to Mic Mac Mall daily where she made friends in Starbucks.
Dorice is survived by two daughters, Nadine Hook, Janice (Charles) Bastable; son, Ronald LeBlanc (Jane Mayo); three sisters, Aurore “Rory” Cavanaugh, Jeanette Arsenault, Claudette (Hugh) Sackett; grandchildren, Nicole, Kerri, Kryssta, Trevor, and Chelsea; eight Great-Grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ulysse LeBlanc; sisters, Lorraine Leger, and Therese Depres; brothers, Raymond and Joseph Depres who died in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday March 16 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, with a reception to follow. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
