After a yearlong struggle Donna passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton. Oldest of four siblings: Mavis, Tom (deceased) and Sheila, Donna was born in Nashwaaksis to Robert Waldo Evans and Madeline Gertrude Evans (nee Kennedy).
She is survived by sons Kevin Webber of Toronto and Derrick Webber of Ottawa and grandchildren Alexander and Nathaniel.
In the early 1970s Donna helped found and run the UNB Preschool Center. She worked as an interior designer in Fredericton, St. John’s NFLD and Bridgewater NS bringing colour and beauty to homes and neighbourhoods. As the owner of Mactaquac’s On the Pond Lodge she brought enjoyment, peace and comfort to many over the years.

Remembered warmly with love by friends and family across the country, she will be remembered as a strong, creative and hopeful woman. She will be missed.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 3 from 2 to 4 PM at the York funeral home.
