Donna Marie MacArthur, age 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in Kitchener, daughter of the late Harold & Eileen (Uhrig) White and her step-mother Iris Aitken. Darling wife of Donald MacArthur, much loved mother of Catherine (Ian) MacArthur, Heather MacArthur, James MacArthur and Janet MacArthur (Nathan Campbell). Nana to Chance, Lachlan and Donovan. Donna is survived by her siblings; Bernie (Rosemary) White, Craig (Kerry) White, Janice (Bob) Briden and Nancy (Gary) Harvey. She will be remembered by her in-laws; Rod, Sheila Heather, Laura, sister-in-law Marjorie Stix and their families along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins and her “Hockey Sons”. Donna was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Church and a past president of the Catholic Women’s League. Donna touched many lives as an educator, a job she enjoyed and continued with even after retirement. Besides her parents, and her mother and father-in-law, Donna was predeceased by her brother Dennis White and her sister-in-law Margaret White. Donna’s family invites you to the visitation on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. (CWL Prayers will take place at 1:45p.m.) at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford. The Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, September 8th at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 50 Well Street, Stratford. Cremation will take place following the mass, with a private family interment.
