Obituary of Donelda Stewart
Peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Monday afternoon, September 24th, 2018. Inez Mary Donelda Stewart, of Owen Sound, at the age of 89 years. Dearly loved daughter of the late Frederick and Inez Stewart. Donelda will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings, Alvey Stewart, Orville Stewart (Beth), Olive Stewart, Lorena Aiton and Eveline Aiton. Donelda was a founding member of the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce, one of the original members of the Owen Sound Seniors Centre and served on their Board of Directors, Past President and founding member of Zonta and she owned and operated the Kilbourn’s Ladies Wear Store for many years.
A Funeral Service for Donelda Stewart will be held in the Chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492), on Friday, September 28th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bonnie Holliday officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:45 to 10:45 prior to the service. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce or the Owen Sound Seniors Centre as an expression of sympathy.
