Donelda Farrell
Farrell, Donelda Jacqueline, age 86, of Dartmouth, NS, passed away April 15, 2018. Born in Glace Bay, NS she is survived by two brothers, Walter Farrell, ON, and Cyril Farrell, BC. Donelda was predeceased by her husband Gerald Maurice McKearney and one son, Derek Wayne McKearney, as well as fifteen siblings. She was the loving mother of Derek, Rhonda, Dennis, Ruth, Douglas, Michael and Lori. She worked for many years at Dartmouth General Hospital and the Victoria General Hospital. After retirement she enjoyed volunteering at the Dartmouth Senior Centre. Her greatest joy was to spend time with her children and grandchildren. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and the family will have a private celebration of her life. Special thanks to the caring staff of the Admiral Nursing Home.
