Donald « Don » Channen
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Donald Robert ‘Don’ Channen in Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the age of 82 years. The family would like to thank the staff of Northern Lights Cottage Unit, at Points West Living, Red Deer, Alberta. Don will lovingly be remembered by his wife, Marlene Channen; his children, Valerie, Donna (Trevor), Jason (Carol) and Jim (Jackie); his grandchildren, Steven, Beth, Jackie, James, Carly, Annie and Arianna; one great grandson, Jacob, and his sister, Dorothy. A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held at the Innisfail Legion, Branch No. 104, 5108 – 49 Avenue, Innisfail, Alberta on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Don’s honour may be made directly to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.ca or to the Alzheimer’s Society at www.alzheimer.ca.
