Donald James Alford -Age 69 of Digby, Nova Scotia passed away January 3, 3018 at home with family by his side in Digby, Nova Scotia. Born May 3, 1948 he was a son of the late Jack and Marjorie (O’Connell) Alford. Don lived east of Toronto most of his life and from a very young age worked as a project manager for a small private construction company called Cemal for over 40 years. Hockey was a huge part of Don’s life and he played and travelled to various tournaments for many years with the Whitby Marigold team. In his later years he played pickup hockey. Don spent many fun years power boating on the Trent system and later Georgian Bay….
