Donald « Don » MacRoberts
MacRoberts, Donald Ephram “Don” – age 88 of Porters Lake passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2018 in The Birches. Born in Head of Chezzetcook he was the son of the late William and Emily (Bonang) MacRoberts. Don is survived by, daughters, Barbie Boutilier, Maureen (Barry) Marr, Carolyn (John) Kerkhof, Darlene (Jim) Sellers; sons, Darren (Rose), Buddy (Crystal); estranged daughters, Donna and Beverly; sisters, Theresa Atkins, Louella (Ian) Hart; brothers, Fred (Karen), Tommy (Norma); 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Myrtle (Meldrum) MacRoberts; sisters, Olive, Geraldine, Mary, Eva, Virginia; brothers, Charles and Bernard. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11am Wednesday, March 7th with a reception to follow both in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Don’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to thank St. Vincent’s and The Birches for the care and kindness that they have shown our father.
