Donald Broad
1941-2018
Donald Lloyd Broad of Woodstock, NB, passed away peacefully at Upper
River Valley Hospital on the evening of October 14, 2018.
Donald was born in Beechwood, NB, on January 14, 1941. He was the son
of the late Howard and Ellen (Crain) Broad. Donald leaves behind his
loving wife, Eileen Broad (Hathaway); his step-daughters, Lisa Butler
of Fredericton, NB, Amber Butler of Woodstock, NB, Nicole Davenport
(Corey Shannon) of Fredericton, NB; his step-sons, Daniel Butler of
California, Rodney Butler of Woodstock, NB, William Butler of Fort
McMurray, AB; his sister, Shirley DeMerchant (Blake) of Beechwood, NB;
his brothers, Fred Broad (Brenda), Claude Broad (Betty), and Berlin
Broad, all of Beechwood, NB; along with several nieces and
nephews.
Donald was predeceased by his parents; his late wife, Evelyn Broad
(Violette); brothers James, Sherdon « Junior », Raymond, Earl,
Phillip, Garnett, and Irvine Broad.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday 1-2 pm.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 2 pm
from the funeral home. Rev. David Ferrell officiating. Interment will
be in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the NB Heart and Stroke
Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover.
