Peacefully, on December 10, 2018. Don Thompson, Loving husband of the late Clara (Milne) Thompson and dearly loved companion of Anne Andrews. Don is survived by his sons, Howie (Maura), Hugh and Hal (Shannon), and by his grandchildren Sophie, Ben, Nate and Dane, all of whom he loved and cherished. Dear brother of Ray (Ruth), Lynda Moore (Doug) and Lois Simpson. Predeceased by his brother Jim and sisters’ Dorothea Dillabaugh (Trevor) and Phyllis Theriault, and by his brothers and sister–in–law, Cliff Theriaut, Bob Simpson and Lois Thompson. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. By Don’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitations will be held on December 13, 2018, from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain, (613-989-3836). A Memorial service will be held, December 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrews United Church, 256 South Gower Drive, Heckston. Private inurnment in South Gower cemetery at a later date.
