In loving memory of Dolores Thérèse
Turcotte (nee Guay), at the age of 84 years, who passed away at the
Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday June 3, 2018 after a long
illness.
Dolores was born in Sainte-Hedwidge, Quebec on February 11,
1934. She also resided in Lamotte, Quebec and in Miramichi, NB.
Dolores was a seamstress, who brought new life to old dolls and toys
to the delight of many children and was a regular at flea markets and
craft sales. Her apple pies and home-made fudge were always in demand.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was the loving wife of 64 years to Ronald Turcotte of
Keswick Ridge, dear mother to Yvon Turcotte (deceased 2006) (Phyllis)
of Moncton; Francine Cain (Joey) of Moncton, Huguette Pothier (Claude
Jr.) of Fredericton, Suzanne Turcotte of Saint John; cherished
grandmother
to Dan, Mark, Elizabeth, Adam, Lilie and Claude III; great grandmother
to Allison and Samantha.
No visitation by Dolores’ request. A funeral
service will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock
Road on Thursday June 7, 2018 at 2 pm with Father Monte Peters
officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Roman
Catholic Cemetery in Hanwell, NB.
Donations made to a charity of the donor’s choice
would be greatly appreciated by the family.
