FONTAINE, Dolores (née Elderbroom) – Mrs. Dolores Fontaine on Friday June 1, 2018 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 87 years. Cherished mother of Diane Caron (Bob), Brian (Paula), Donna Watkins (Jim), and David (Angela). Sadly missed by 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Dear sister to Gary Elderbroom and Shirley Lamoureux. Predeceased by her husband Willie Charles Fontaine, her sons Gordon (Mariette) and Michael (Sandra), her siblings Ray Elderbroom and Doreen Bryerton, and her parents John Ralph and Laura (née Kirby) Elderbroom. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home where visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM and again on Wednesday from 9AM until the time of service. The Liturgy of the Word with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at 10AM. Cremation to follow. A private interment will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date. If so desired, contributions in her memory to Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.
