In Memory of Dick Hensen
Dick was born in Haarlem, Holland on March 20, 1928. He married Johanna JacobaWijngaarden on March 11, 1953 and they emigrated from Holland to Canada shortlythereafter. Dick and Johanna lived in Two Mountains, Quebec until 1991, then moved to Ingersoll, Ontario where they lived until 2015 before moving to Birkdale Place in Milton.
Dick is survived by his spouse Johanna Hensen and their children Richard (Margaret), Margot (Bill Standeven), Nicolette (Pat Parant), Audrey (Rick Hughes), Michael (Jill) and loving Opa to Scott, Mark, Erika, Adria, Evan, Brent, Cameron, Lee, Nicole, Rebecca, Reid, Abigail, Chloe and Lily. He is also survived by his siblings Margo van Steveninck, Martin (Betty), José (Claude Sweeney) and Batami.
He enjoyed playing his guitar and all forms of music, chess on the computer. Dick was a city councillor in Two Mountains and in recent years a faithful member of Faith United Church in Milton.
