Diane Martindale Date: Friday October 12 2018

Martindale, Diane, passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Southampton Hospital on Friday October 12, 2018 in her 66th year. Loving wife of Merv. Proud mother of Tim and his wife Emily, Matt and his wife Keri, and Jay and his wife Kylie. Cherished grandmother of Avery, Mason, Hudson, Manix, Reese, and Archie. Loved sister of Connie (Rick) Barker, JoAnn Tomori, Mary (Bob) Rodgers, Vicki Tomori, Jamie (Tina) Smith, Tisha (Gary) Walmsely, and Tami (Jim) Everding. Dear aunt to many nieces & nephews. Diane will be remembered by Merv’s family, Gladys, Ron (Linda), Carmen (Anne), and Les. Predeceased by her parents Max & Dina Smith, by her father in law William Martindale, by her infant brother Maxie Jr., and by her brother in laws Gary & Dennis Tomori, and Don Martindale. Diane had a love for life and for everyone around her, she had an infectious smile, and gave embracing hugs. She had unconditional love for her husband, kids and grandchildren. Being a grandma was her most rewarding role and her grandchildren were her biggest pride and joy. Diane would do anything for anyone and her strength was admired by all. A Casual come & go gathering to Honour the life of Diane Martindale will be held at the Southampton Town Hall, on Tuesday October 16, 2018 from 5-8 pm. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the Breakfast program at G.C. Huston public school.
