Diane Marie Ramsay
1945-2018
Diane Marie Ramsay – 72 of Cambridge,
Kings County, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2018 in the
Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born September 2, 1945 in
Kentville, she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Della (Keddy)
Brewster. Diane enjoyed attending dances and jam sessions with Wendell
and friends. She also enjoyed meeting new people through her various
occupations. Wendell and Diane were inseparable. Diane is survived by
her husband of 40 years, Wendell; children, Shelley (Trevor) Caldwell;
Bruce (Tanya) Hoyt; Wendy (Verdell) Longstaff; Kenneth Ramsay; Tammy
(Duane Fitzgerald) Schofield; grandchildren, Cameron, Erik, Chaz,
Liam, Ashton and Kyle; sister, Neta Simpson; a niece and nephew. She
was predeceased by daughters, Cindy and Susan Ramsay. Visitation will
be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00
p.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 in the White Family Funeral Home,
Kentville. Reception to follow. After the reception, burial
will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney
Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White
Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
