Dahmer)
August 1949 – July 2018
Denise passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at St.
Joseph’s Health Centre (palliative care unit), Guelph, with
family by her side. After a long valiant fight with cancer,
she joins her husband, Robert Bolton (2017), her father Horace Dahmer
(1994) and her sister Beverley Dahmer (2018). Denise was the
loving mother of sons Steve (Kelly) and Geoff and grandmother
of her two grandsons Isaiah (Lisa Ward) and Kody. She is
survived by her mother, Joan Dahmer, brother Darryl,
Beverley’s partner Brenda and many nieces and
nephews. Denise (also known as « Mrs. B »)
spent over 40 years working at Dufferin Aggregates in Acton. She was
also a long standing member of the Boilermakers union local
488. She loved spending time at Splitrail park in Sebright,
where she made many lifelong friends over the past 30 years.
Denise was an avid traveler. With her husband and their love of Nascar
racing and warm weather, they went to many races all around the United
States. She also loved knitting, embroidery and helping out
at the Red Chev club as a member of the ladies auxiliary.
Cremation has taken place. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer
society on her behalf would be greatly appreciated. A celebration of
life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to
